What is Loophole Online?

Loophole Online is a comprehensive LSAT prep platform built by Ellen Cassidy, author of The Loophole in LSAT Logical Reasoning. It covers both Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension through 400+ video lessons, 87 proprietary workouts, 60 homework routines, a 5-stage prep map, and unique review tools.

How much does Loophole Online cost?

Loophole Online is $49.99 every 4 weeks. There's a free Book Portal tier for Loophole book readers too.

Do I need to read The Loophole book first?

No, not at all. You can dive into Loophole Online and start right away. The book is a wonderful starting point for the foundational Logical Reasoning methodology, but the course takes you so much further: it covers both LR and RC, packs in hundreds of video lessons, and walks you through all five prep stages, right up to test day. I do reference the book throughout the course, so it's worth keeping a copy on hand, but you definitely don't need to finish it before you begin. Wherever you're starting from, I'll meet you there and guide you all the way to test day.

Can I do the course if I've already read The Loophole?

Absolutely. If you've already read the book, you'll start on the Foundation Plan, which takes you through the whole course on its own, day by day, in the order I'd put you in myself. The videos and bootcamps are built to pick up where the book left off, so you're not rereading what you already know, you're taking each concept further and getting it into muscle memory. And if you'd like to go back through the book as you go, you can switch on the Tandem Plan, a 21-day schedule that pairs each day's reading with the matching lessons, drills, and Camo review. Either way, you just follow the day-by-day schedule and I'll guide you all the way to test day.

How is this different from other LSAT prep platforms?

Most LSAT prep platforms focus on question banks and video explanations — they basically live in the Learn phase. Loophole Online teaches a fundamentally different methodology and is the only platform that takes you beyond learning into Translation, Accuracy, Speed, and Perform. It includes proprietary tools like Camo review and CLIR answer keys that you won't find anywhere else.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no commitments. Cancel anytime from your account settings. Your access continues through the end of your current paid period. Cancellation via account settings takes effect right away. Note that if you email to cancel it will take a little longer to go through, so it's not your best bet if your renewal is coming up soon.

What LSAT sections does it cover?

Loophole Online covers both Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. The book was primarily LR — the platform goes further and covers RC as well.

Does Loophole Online work with LSAT accommodations?

Yes, absolutely. Every timed exercise on the platform runs on your accommodated time, not just the standard 35 minutes. Sections and full practice tests all have one-tap presets for 35, 53, and 70 minutes, and you can type in a custom time for any other accommodation you've been approved for. You can also save your test day timing in Account Settings, so every PT loads with your accommodated time already set instead of you resetting it each time. And your analytics are measured against your own accommodated time and your own past performance, never against a standard-time curve, so your pacing data reflects your test day.

Your Guide

Meet Ellen Cassidy.

Ellen wrote the book — literally. The Loophole in LSAT Logical Reasoning is recommended across r/LSAT and has shipped tens of thousands of copies.

But Ellen isn't just an author. She still tutors students 4-10 hours a day — but there's only one of her. She built Loophole Online so every student could get her complete methodology, not just the few who can book her calendar. Same strategies, same frameworks, same results — now at scale.

Her mission: teach the world to read and think.
