I worked with Ellen at Elemental Prep over the course of three years. In our final session together, I became emotional reflecting on what the experience had meant to me. Ellen is so much more than an LSAT tutor and mentor -- she had a significant personal impact on me throughout my entire preparation journey.

I came in as an undergraduate at the University of Chicago with a 152 diagnostic. My Logical Reasoning was strong from the start -- I was hitting perfect scores on LR sections early on -- but Reading Comprehension was my Achilles' heel, consistently losing 4 to 5 questions per section. Ellen zeroed in on that weakness immediately, putting me through Inside Out RC drills, Camo Review, and an intensive vocabulary-building regimen.

The turning point came when I got my first -0 on a Reading Comprehension section. That moment proved the Translation and vocabulary work was paying off. From there, my scores climbed steadily. Ellen also introduced the Null vs. Void framework for answer choices -- choose the answer you don't understand over the one you know has a problem -- which was a game-changer for the hardest questions.

One of the best phone calls our family ever made was to Elemental Prep. Ellen really does customize her tutoring to the individual student. The reason she is so successful is because she understands each student's learning style and teaches accordingly. There is no doubt that the success achieved was a result of working with Elemental Prep.
